Comments: Darkstalkers 3 is a fast-paced, well-animated fighter where the characters are all supernatural beings from another world (werewolves, vampires, cat women, etc.). The fighters have many special moves at their disposal, which makes for a very interesting game. "Turbo" mode can get a little too hectic, though.

Gameplay: 9; It's a lot like some of the Street Fighter games, and even though I don't really like those games, DS3 is great. The gameplay is fast and smooth.

Graphics: 9; Nice 2D graphics and animation leave you with nothing to complain about as far as graphics go (unless you hate all 2D games). The character designs are beautiful, too.

Sound: 9; The voices (in Japanese) are very good, and the sound effects are nice, too.

Music: 6; The music in the game can really get annoying as hell, but that sort of depends on which stage you're at. Overall, the music is too repetitive.

Replay Value: 8; Of course, you should beat the game with all of the characters to see the endings, and then there is an "Original Character" mode, where you can edit a character and build their strength up. The game will keep you amused for a while.

Final: 8; The few flaws it has can be overlooked quite easily. If you're looking for a good 2D fighter with great character designs and fast-paced action, this is a must-have.
